I really liked the science experiment we did last week. It's my "Tell Me Something Good." We were trying to experiment in order to see the size of the bubbles that could be created. We used a toothpick and made holes in the lemon. Then, we chose a color food dye to add to the lemon. Afterwards, we put dish soap on top. We finished with baking soda. Here's a photo with my explanation of the process! I learned that a reaction happens when we add the different materials. The acids & bases mix together and make an eruption. I liked that we got to use our hands to learn about volcanoes. It was better than just reading from a book. I also was happy to send my work to my parents (thanks Seesaw). You should try it out sometime! https://littlebinsforlittlehands.com/erupting-lemon-volcano-chemistry/
