It's Tell Me Something Good Tuesday and there's lots to celebrate!
First of all, Happy Belated Labor Day! Hope y'all enjoyed a nice day with family and friends. We were going to release a podcast today, but there's some nasal congestion going on... so we'll (mostly) spare you from the listen this week :) #1- Our Kindergarteners logged into their Chromebooks for the first time! This is quite the feat. It took both perseverance and patience (and some extra fourth grade hands). Kudos to the Kindergarten teachers for adopting the "No Excuses" mindset. Yes, they logged by themselves with both a username and password. Yes, our five year olds were able to get on Google Classroom. It's a true testament to both the kids and teachers! A few tips and tricks for you-
#2-
This morning, I witnessed a classroom morning meeting begin with TMSG. Students were sharing about the fun things they did over the weekend. No doubt that many of the events were indeed awesome, but the aim was for the kids to think beyond their own little bubble. There's also lots of good going on in the world in the lives of others. Hearts can be full from hearing about the positive all across the world. We shared the story of the Jonas Brothers surprising a fan from CBS's THE UPLIFT. Totally worth checking out :)
What's your something good?!?
